Children’s Courses – Spring 2013

All classes begin the week of April 8th! No classes during vacation April 15th – 19th.

Family Music Makers: Little Music Makers – Toddlers (ages newborn – approx 4) and their caretakers sing, dance and explore a variety of rhythm instruments with beloved instructor Laura DiGiacomo.

Class Times:
Wednesdays: 9:30 – 10:15 am
Wednesdays: 10:30 – 11:15 am
Wednesdays: 11:30 – 12:15 pm

Wednesday Location: Lincoln Wharf function room.

Fee: $175/ten meetings, children under 6 months may attend with a sibling at no additional charge. Each time slot is contingent upon a class minimum of 6 students.

Program Dates: April 10th  –  June 19th  (no class 4/17)


Children’s Yoga to Music – This offering is geared toward children 4 – 7 years old, younger siblings are welcome to enroll as well. Caretakers will drop off their child/children. Children are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats!

Instructor: Karen Shea

Mondays 4:00 pm

Location: Boston Harbor Community Church

Fee: $150/8 classes, contingent upon a minimum of 4 students.

Program Dates: 4/22 – 6/24  (No class May 27th (Memorial Day, and June 17 (Bunker Hill Day)


“Mommy and Me”  Italian Class – Using an immersion technique children learn Italian by listening and repeating words and phrases as they engage in craft projects and sing along activities alongside their parents!

Instructor: Sonia Parravano

Tuesdays:  3:30 pm – 4:30 (ages 5-9)

Location: 9 Hull Street

Program Dates: April 9th – June 18th (no class 4/14)

Fee: $250 a session (for parent and one child. Each additional child is $75)


My Gym – A beginners course in gymnastics offered by My Gym of Boston’s mobile unit.  Please choose your time according to student age if possible. Next 10 week session.

Ages 1-2.5:  Thurs 9:10 am

Ages 2.5-4: Thurs 10:00 am

Location: Boston Harbor Community Church

Class Fee: $175/10 sessions

Program Dates:  April 11th – June 20th (No class 4/18)



Spring 2013 Courses:
To reserve space in a course and assure receipt of course materials, we must have your completed registration form and full payment by April 1st. Course payments may be made by check, cash or credit (Visa, Mastercard)
Course Policies:
Drop before the first class meeting – full refund (less $20 administration fee). Drop between first and second class meeting – 80% refund. Drop during or after second class meeting – no refund. We do not pro-rate course fees for students (a) joining a class after the session begins, (b) leaving a class before the session ends, or (c) taking planned absences.
