Summer Performance Season 2016

NEMPAC Opera Project

The North End Music & Performing Arts Center is proud to announce our upcoming 15th Anniversary Summer Performance Season 2016! NEMPAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization who continues to provide accessible and affordable programming to our community.

Our season opens with the NEMPAC Opera Project’s production of Rossini’s “La Cenerentola” in partnership with the City of Boston Mayor’s Office of Special Events. A fully staged version of the opera, sung in Italian with orchestra, will be performed at Boston’s Historic Faneuil Hall, the Great Hall on June 23, 24, and 25, 2016.

Special to our Summer Performance Season this year is that we are featuring a series of five outdoor free community concerts. These concerts make up our July Thursday Night Summer Concert Series, which will take place in the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park.  Each event will pre-concert children’s programming and a live main-stage professional performance program.

NEMPAC continues to serve thousands of community members, families and visitors each year through this opera project and summer concert series. The season has since provided over 300 artistic job opportunities for local musicians, singers and directors. Working with past and current partners including the City of Boston Mayor’s Office as well as the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park, our impact is even greater.

We invite you to join us and participate as a sponsor in our Summer Concert Season. Truly, our partnership will make this year an even greater celebration! As a contributor, we will provide a special benefits package (see attached) that includes advertising at the event and in our marketing materials, as well as a special invitation to opening night of the Opera Project.

Your support of NEMPAC influences thousands and truly makes a difference in our community. I look forward to hearing from you, and we are excited to welcome your potential involvement with us again this year. Thank you for supporting the arts in Boston!
